Item Identification Skill

The main purpose of the Item Identification skill is to help you decide which items to unravel for imbuing. Activate the skill from your skill list and target a magical piece of equipment. It will tell you the item's magical intensity and which magical ingredient you would pull out of it by unravelling it.

Keep in mind that Item Identification assumes you get no bonus from a soulforge. Since some soulforges grant an imbuing bonus, unravelling next to one can give you a stronger ingredient than the skill reported.

Using this skill repeatedly will take you up to 100 skill.
