Shame Dungeon
Shame Dungeon

General Information
Shame Dungeon is entered through a cave in Britannia, northwest of the entrance to Blighted Grove, Lady Melisande's lair.

Dungeon Entrance
The dungeon has five different levels. An item called a Crystal of Shame drops from the corpses of the creatures you kill. Double-clicking this item gives you Shame Dungeon Crystal Points, and these points are what you need to summon the guardians on the first 3 levels. You can check the points you have so far by left-clicking your character and choosing Loyalty Ratings from the menu that appears.

The must-have Slayer type in this dungeon is elemental slayer. For warriors, a Mage Slayer talisman can save time against the mage NPCs. Mage NPCs are also vulnerable to Repond Slayer. Some of the powerful NPCs on Level 4 and beyond take 50% less damage from summoned creatures (Energy Vortex and the like) and from tamed animals. Inside the dungeon there are low walls of stone or logs that are guarded by cave trolls and vanish when the troll dies. When the troll respawns, these walls come back as well. So if you are going into the dungeon with a character who has no Magery skill, it is worth carrying a few Teleport scrolls with you.

Level 1 Map
The following creatures are found on Level 1:
Once you have collected 10 Dungeon Points by killing these creatures, you earn the right to challenge the Level 1 guardian, Quartz Elemental. All you have to do is double-click the Level 1 Altar. If the guardian has not been killed recently, it will accept your challenge somewhere on Level 1. You then have one hour to find it and kill it. A special item called Quartz Grit drops from the Quartz Elemental's corpse. This item is one of the 3 components used to make a Whetstone of Enervation. The Whetstone completely removes the Damage Increase property from exceptional weapons, making room for a new property. It has to be applied before Imbuing.
