How Do I Log In to the Game?

You have read the "How to create a game account" article and finished creating your account. To connect to the game you now need to download the Ultimate World Launcher.

As of Thursday, November 2, 2023, only the staff team and beta testers can log in to our server. To download the launcher, please join the test team. You can visit our Discord address to do so.

Once you have downloaded the zip file containing the Launcher, you can extract it wherever you like.

Open the Launcher and you will see an Update button. This is the first install. Here is what gets downloaded; (Ultimate World Client, Ultima Online: Endless Journey, modified Ultima Online files)



When the install finishes the program will close itself and reopen. From there you can press the Play button and log in if you already have a game account, or create one if you do not.

Important Notice: The program has a Relocate option. The Launcher moves just about everything in its current location to the new folder you pick. (Keep the Launcher inside a folder of its own.)

Important Notice 2: On the First Install the program starts downloading the game and the files it needs, and they land wherever the Launcher is. (That is why you should keep the Launcher inside a folder of its own.)





If you close the Launcher during the first install, this is where you can get back to the first install state.





If you want to remove all game files, check "Delete All Files" and click the "Confirm" button.

To get the most up to date Patch version, first check "Delete All Files" and press "Confirm". Then check "Reinstall All Files" and press "Confirm" again.

Error Messages:

If you get an error like the one below, it means you are trying to connect from outside our custom client. There is no way to log in without our custom client. To get it, download the Launcher first and follow the steps above. The custom client comes with the first install.



If you get an error like the one below, it means your game account has not been created yet. Once you create your account you can log in within 1 minute at most.



If you get an error like the one below, it means the password for your game account is wrong. Check your account password. If you changed your password, it takes up to 1 minute to take effect in game.
