Tamer Guide

Character Creation
It is worth creating your character as an Elf. Elf is the only race that can tame a Cu Sidhe and ride it directly. Humans can ride one by wearing the special boots called Pads of Cu Sidhe, but since there are luck sandals on the server I do not recommend it.
Since Peacemaking is not very useful (see the Peacemaking Difference heading), I strongly recommend Discordance instead. For starting skills, 50 Discordance, 50 Musicianship and 20 Veterinary works well. Train Musicianship and Discordance first, then have Veterinary taught to you and train that, and after that carry on with Animal Taming, Animal Lore, Magery and so on, going from hardest to easiest.
The Peacemaking Difference
On animals that require over 100 skill to tame, the animal breaks out of peace as soon as you attempt the tame after peacing it. That is why the peacemaking skill is not much use while taming. As an alternative, the Honor virtue is one solution. If the tamer honors themselves before starting the tame, creatures will not attack the tamer for up to 5 minutes depending on the level of the virtue. Beyond that, you can try dropping the creature's hit points, paralyze field, or taming while running away. For a video of taming a Cu Sidhe without Honor, filmed by our player fokudu (Fatih), click here.
To build Honor you must honor every creature you kill before attacking it, and its hit points must be at 100%. To do so, click the star icon on your paperdoll, click the chalice shape in the menu that opens, and then select the creature you are going to attack with the mouse cursor, which turns into a target. You can also assign this to a macro.

Pet Training
This is a system that lets you improve the pets you tame in terms of stats, skills, resists, special moves, new abilities and more. For details, click here.
Training Skills
At the Newbie Center you can train Discordance (on moving animals), Animal Taming (on all animals), Animal Lore and Veterinary up to 100.
Making Money
You can farm Meer, Ancient Lich, and the Giant Acid Elemental and Giant Gargoyle that we made and added specially for our server. After farming Meers for a while your karma will drop, so all blue creatures (Meer, Wisp) will start attacking you. To keep your karma positive it is worth killing the creatures that attack you (grey/red names) from time to time.
Rare Mount Spawn Locations
With a few exceptions, rare mounts are in their original locations.
Nightmare: Ki-rin Passage, Terathan Keep, Wind (spawns every 5-10 minutes)
Fire Steed: Fire Dungeon Level 1 & 2 (spawns every 5-10 minutes)
Unicorn: Spirituality Forest, Grimswind Ruins, Grimswind Fountain (spawns every 5-10 minutes)
Ki-rin: Spirituality Forest, Grimswind Ruins, Grimswind Fountain, Ki-rin Passage (spawns every 5-10 minutes)
Bonding Time
On Ultimate World a pet needs 2 days to become bonded. On top of that, you can bond it instantly with a Pet Bonding Potion, which you can buy with trash points.
Luck
- About Luck: the higher your luck value, the better your chance of getting good items from loot. The same rule applies to your chance of finding artifacts. In other words, the higher the luck value, the more likely you are to find rare items. The luck cap on our server is 1800. The higher both your luck value and the fame value of the creature you kill, the higher your chance of pulling quality items out of the loot.
- Cu Sidhe (Twisted Weald; you get there by taking the Dread Horn quest, click here and look at the Twisted Weald - Dread Horn heading; it takes 3 slots) Once your pet is trained up through the Animal Trainer system, it takes 5 slots
