Minor and Major Artifacts can be upgraded with a Recipe Scroll.
To earn a Minor Artifact Recipe Scroll you need to kill the bosses in certain dungeons.
on the Ilshenar map. Once you have the Recipe Scroll for that Minor Artifact.
you also need to be carrying 3 of the matching Minors.
For Major Artifacts we picked 5 coordinates on the Felucca map, and at one of them.
a boss spawns at random every 2 hours. No new one spawns until that boss is killed.
You earn the Recipe Scroll of a random Artifact. That Scroll is used together with 3 of the matching Artifact, a Design Tool and 1M gold in your bank. The Design Tool is sold by the Provisioner.
