Peacemaking Skill
Living in peace, hugging a dragon or handing a flower to a blood elemental, wouldn't that be lovely?
With this skill, using the music you play through the Musicianship skill, you can lull an animal (depending on your skill level) and live side by side with it. The creature snaps out of peace mode once it takes damage.
Peacemaking on an area (by targeting yourself) stops all combat activity in the area. Creatures and players can fight again straight away, but they have to attack anew.
The Animal Taming - Peacemaking Connection
The thing players on our server complain about most with the new version is that an animal calmed down and stopped from attacking with Peacemaking starts attacking again the moment you try to Tame it.
Cu Sidhe, Dragon, Greater Dragon, Hiryu, Lesser Hiryu, Nightmare, Reptalon, RuneBeetle, Swamp Dragon and White Wyrm all share the trait of being permanently angry. Because they are always angry, you can shut down their attacks with Peacemaking. But the moment you try to Tame one, it will attack you with a 95% chance. The method players have adopted for taming these creatures is to wear their health down, let them flee, and then try to tame them.
Older versions were not designed with this in mind, so creatures could comfortably be obtained using Peacemaking. Because the runuo team did it that way back then, people got used to it and treat anything else as a bug. This is definitely not a bug. This is how it is supposed to work.
Note: With the update, creatures among those listed above whose minimum tame requirement is over 100 will attack you with a 95% chance while under Peace.
Skill Training
Peacemaking is relatively easy to train. Use Peacemaking, target yourself, and repeat every 10 seconds. You can train your musicianship skill by double clicking the musical instrument in your pack.
