Poisoning Skill
The main purpose of the Poisoning skill is to apply poison to weapons. Applying higher level poisons requires higher skill levels. Poisoning is activated from the skill list. Some players also find it entertaining to poison food and leave it lying around.
Having Poisoning skill helps when you use poisoned weapons. Higher skill means a better chance to hit with a higher poison level. For example, greater poison on a weapon will land as deadly poison.
High Poisoning also affects the short-range Magery poison spell.
Players who poison their weapons rely on alchemists for their poison, so training Alchemy alongside Poisoning is very handy. You can raise your Alchemy skill by brewing the poison you need to take Poisoning up to 100.
