Spellweaving Skill
Spellweaving Mondain's Legacy expansion introduced Spellweaving, an art of magic. Those who practice it are called arcanists. Spellweaving lets an arcanist call on the great forces of nature and release them as spells, which is why it needs no reagents at all. To make use of Spellweaving's full power, a group of arcanists can gather and cast Arcane Focus together to create a high level Arcane Crystal . Once the spell is complete there is no need to stay together.
Casting Spellweaving spells does not make you drop what you are holding, so you do not need spell channeling. Faster Casting, Faster Cast Recovery and Spell Damage Increase all help, but Inscription has no effect on Spellweaving spell damage. Spellweaving also gets no damage bonus from Slayer properties.
Spellweaving benefits from the passive bonuses and abilities that come with Skill Mastery: Enchanted Summoning, Mana Shield and Summon Reaper. On top of that, an arcanist with Spellweaving Mastery active can create a low level Arcane Crystal on their own. Having an arcanist with Spellweaving Mastery active in the group lowers the number of arcanists needed to create a top level Arcane Crystal.
New characters cannot start with the Spellweaving skill; it is a privilege you have to earn by completing one of the quest chains called Patience or Discipline.

| Icon | Spell Name | Mana | Skill | Area of Effect | Duration | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arcane Circle Myrshalee | 24 | 0 | The caster and the other 4 Arcanists inside the Arcane Circle | 1-10 hours (Skill x 10/ 240, minimum 1) (+1 hour per extra arcanist) | The caster and 4 companions must stand inside an Arcane Circle. When the caster casts the spell, a charged emerald (also called an Arcane Focus) is created for the caster and for the other arcanists beside them. This Arcane Focus strengthens the power, duration and area of the spells of the caster and of the other arcanists in the arcane circle.![]() Notes: Here is one way to use it. Say 6 tamers are heading to a champ spawn or DF; before they set out they cast this arcane circle and go in with it, so their spell power is at its highest. |
| Attunement Haeldril | 24 | 0 | The caster | 1-5 minutes (Skill x 10 / 240, minimum 1) | Arcane Focus Bonus: increases the spell's duration and the amount of damage absorbed Melee (physical) attacks from enemies do 50% less damage. |
| Gift of Renewal Olorisstra | 24 | 0 | The targeted person | 30 seconds | Arcane Focus Bonus: +1 hp regen, +10 seconds duration and +2% cure chance per arcanist. Increases the hp regen of the person it is cast on. It also cures once, but the spell ends when it cures. If the target gets poisoned after the spell is cast, the spell will try to cure the poison one time. Notes: It can be very useful both at champ spawns and in pvp. |
| Nature's Fury Rauvvrae | 24 | 0 | The targeted location | 26 - 42 seconds, 25 + ((Skill x 10) / 240, minimum 1)) or until the insects are killed | Arcane Focus Bonus: +1 damage and +2 seconds duration per arcanist for each insect swarm You create a swarm of insects that deal poison damage and set it on your enemies. The insects cannot be controlled by the caster. The angrier the insects get, the more damage they do. |
| Immolating Weapon Thalshara | 32 | 10 | The melee weapon in the caster's hand | 11-15 seconds, 10 + ((Skill x 10 / 240, minimum 1)) | Arcane Focus Bonus: +1 damage and +1 second duration per arcanist. For a short time it adds extra fire damage to the melee weapon in the caster's hand. It only works with Swords, Mace and Fencing melee weapons; it cannot be used on ranged weapons such as bows. |
| Thunderstorm Erelonia | 32 | 10 | Up to 10 tiles | Instant | Arcane Focus Bonus: +1 damage, +1 tile range and +1 second of FCR penalty per arcanist When cast, it deals energy damage to every enemy in the area of effect. If an enemy hit by the spell was casting at the time and the cast was interrupted, they take at least a 5 second FCR penalty. Resisting Spells helps prevent that penalty. |
| Arcane Empowerment Aslavdra | 50 | 24 | The caster | 16 - 32 seconds, 15 + ((Skill x 10) / 240, minimum 1)) | Arcane Focus Bonus: +14% spell damage, improved Healing and +2 seconds duration per arcanist Raises the caster's spell damage and healing. Summoned creatures get 10% more Hit Points and become harder to dispel. |
| Ethereal Voyage Orlavdra | 32 | 24 | The caster | 26 - 42 seconds. 25 + ((Skill x 10 / 240, minimum 1)) or until the caster attacks | Arcane Focus Bonus: +2 seconds duration per arcanist Turns the caster into a bright green Meer Mage. Creatures will ignore you for the duration of the spell or until you attack them. You still take damage from area attacks. This spell cannot be cast during Heat of Battle and you have to wait a few minutes between uses. Named creatures can still see you (Balrons, Rend, bosses and the like). |
| Reaper Form Tarisstree | 34 | 24 | The caster | Until recast or until you die | Arcane Focus Bonus: You already know Lich Form and Wraith Form... When you cast this, you turn into a walking tree and get bonuses to Swing Speed, Spell Damage and Resists, but your Fire resist and your movement speed drop. Note: have your friend cast Mind Rot and Paralyze, you switch to reaper form, and then let rip... It can also be used for a surprise attack while hidden. Its best use: while your friend is chopping down a champ/paragon/DF, you go into reaper form and loose arrow after arrow |
| Gift of Life Illorae | 70 | 38 | After the spell is cast, if the caster or one of their Bonded pets dies, they are instantly resurrected with 50% health. | ||
| Summon Fey Alalithra | 10 | 38 | Creates a "Fey". A Fey here seems to be something like a Pixie, I am not entirely sure, but the slayer type that works at the Lord Oaks spawn is called "Fey Slayer". The spell can only be learned through the quest system | ||
| Summon Fiend Nylisstra | 10 | 38 | The same as the one above, except it creates a Fiend instead of a Fey. | ||
| Dryad Allure Rathril | 40 | 52 | A spell for controlling humanoids. For example: Meer Eternal | ||
| Essence of Wind Anathrae | 40 | 52 | The same as Wildfire, except it deals cold damage, and those hit are slightly frozen, lowering their attack speed and casting speed. | ||
| Wildfire Haelyn | 50 | 66 | Deals fire damage around you. Wither in Necro, Magery Earthquake, Chivalry Holy Light... They all amount to the same thing. | ||
| Word of Death Nyraxle | 50 | 80 | Kills the target outright if they are below a certain HP value. If it fails to kill, it deals a random amount of damage. Best used on: the Harrower, DF, other champions, paragons, anything with a high max HP. |
