Veterinary Skill

Veterinary is essential if you plan on using pets. Master veterinarians can heal pets quickly and effectively, and can even resurrect them if the animals are bonded.

To use the Veterinary skill, simply apply bandages to the animals. The easiest way to do this is with the [band in-game command. Keep in mind that with the Veterinary skill you can bandage wild animals and even enemies. For maximum effect you also need the Animal Lore skill when bandaging animals.

In addition to bandages, pets can also be healed magically, with the cure and heal spells of Magery or Chivalry. Use every option available to heal faster.

High skill not only increases the effect of your bandages on animals, it also gives you more slots at the animal trainers (stables).

You can raise this skill by applying bandages to your animals.
